The Campo dei Miracoli in Pisa is probably best known for the Leaning Tower, but it also consists of a magnificent Duomo, Baptistry, and Camposanto (cemetery). The entire complex was a lovely sight to see. The green lawn is lined with vendors offering little Leaning Towers and miniature Davids among other souvenirs. The tower is definitely a sight to see--it's amazing something that crooked is still standing. (check out the last photo in the top row) We saw many tourists doing the "look! i'm holding up the tower" shot. (# 4) We gave in--you can see our attempt in photo # 5.
