The story of a city poised to lead the architectural field into the 21st century as told by a 200 square foot kiosk on the lakefront. Told in three parts, the beginning is known, but the ending is still yet to be determined. The story begins with an initial installation at Millennium Park during the Chicago Biennial. In a short four-month period, questions will be asked about the state of the architecture and hypotheses will be given. With a more permanent installation on the lakefront, the hypotheses will be tested; first, during an active summer season and then later during a quieter, more subdued winter season. This experiment in small gestures will lay the groundwork for larger, more far-reaching changes to play out in Chicago, one of the country's architectural treasure troves.
